Programs

Our full time staff and Lab Assistants are committed to implementing the various programs we offer. Our programs aim to research innovative uses of technology in the academic setting, and increase the digital fluency of our faculty and students.


Current Programs for 2016

Tech Teams

Test and compare technologies that are relevant to teaching and learning. We evaluate innovative uses for technology in partnerships with faculty and staff.

Digital Storytelling

Increase engagement and learning outcomes by integrating video creation assignments into your course. We provide training, consultations, and support for faculty implementing digital storytelling.

iPad Program

We have a pool of iPads that we use and check out to faculty for innovative academic uses. Faculty are encouraged to submit proposals for semester-long iPad loans.

Sandboxing

We evaluate new technologies and processes that may have value to the academic environment. We run pre-pilot viability testing and limited prototyping with our faculty and staff partners.

iLearn Workshops

Our student-run multimedia workshops are provided during the fall and spring semesters. They are free and open to faculty, staff, and students. We also provide certification courses for our reservation equipment.
