The InnovationSpace loans out digital audio recorders, digital still cameras, video cameras, and video camera accessories. Digital audio recorders, digital still cameras, and high-definition digital video cameras may be checked out by any University faculty, staff, or students on a first-come, first-served basis for up to three (3) days. Equipment loans are limited to one item per person. There is a one-day period you must wait between returning a piece of equipment, and checking out another piece of the same type of equipment. Equipment availability is displayed in real time on our home page.
All equipment is to be used for academic purposes only. Certain high-definition digital video cameras, accessories, and DSLR cameras are available to qualified individuals by reservation. Access to this equipment is given to anyone who completes one of our free workshops (iLearn) on that particular item.
All equipment designated as "reservation equipment" must be reserved at least one week (7 days) in advance. The InnovationSpace does not guarantee that cameras or equipment will be available without a reservation. Contact us through our online form for details and scheduling.
